The 30th Scottish International Patrol Jamborette was held between July 18th and July 28th, 2006, at Blair Castle, Blair Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland. There were about 770 Scouts and 350 leaders attending the event, including ten Scouts and four Leaders from Baden-Powell Council, BSA, in central New York State, as well as Scouts from 16 other countries. We left upstate New York by bus to JFK airport on Monday, July 10, 2006, and arrived in London early the next morning. We spent a week touring London, Hastings and York in England and Edinburgh in Scotland. After that, we attended the Blair Atholl Jamborette for ten days, and afterward, four days of home visitation before we flew home from Edinburgh (via London). I took about 2,500 pictures during our three week trip, and this website will present a few of them. If you need a full-size copy of any of the pictures, or perhaps a picture which doesn't appear here, or if you have any questions about the trip or the Jamborette, feel free to contact me. In the meanwhile, we're already making plans for 2008! - Mike Brown, Baden-Powell Council, BSA How to use this website: You can navigate directly from page to page using the buttons on the left column of each page, or just click on the "next" button at the bottom of each page to move on to the next one... |
