Merit Badges at Barton
What to do, what to do?
The problem isn't finding something to do, but finding time to do all you want!
There are more merit badge opportunities at Camp Barton than any Scout can possibly earn in a summer - or two or three. There will be no problem in filling your time, and if you apply yourself there's no reason you can't earn three or four badges in a week - some Scouts have earned as many as seven!
Some of these badges require work at home. If you don't complete a badge at Camp Barton, you'll be given a partial certificate which you can give to a counselor when you complete the remaining requirements. Bring a letter from your parents or your Scoutmaster, indicating that you've completed the requirements before camp, and you can earn any of these at Barton.
When it comes time to plan your week in detail, we have a daily merit badge schedule
on this website - or you can download it in PDF format.
You can also download a complete list of merit badges and prerequisites in PDF
Format.
