Handicrafts

What would summer camp be without Handicrafts? Many new Scouts have earned their first merit badges in our Handicrafts lodge, and older Scouts will enjoy making things to bring home or decorate the campsite. Don't forget to make a troop plaque to hang in the dining hall as a permanent reminder of your summer at Camp Barton!

Barton offers the following merit badges:

  • Basketry
  • Leatherwork
  • Metalwork
  • Model Design and Building
  • Painting
  • Woodcarving

Note: A project is required for the Handicrafts badges. Scouts may wish to purchase kits at the Trading Post.
